I’m disappointed in the chapter called ‘Dissing the Chinese,’ for reasons too in depth to explain here. I’ll just ask, ‘Why only use pinyin to dis on Chinese?’ Even my beginner’s knowlegde of Mandarin leads me to question how every topic in the book is structured.
